Profhilo

The first of its kind, Profhilo® is a revolutionary ‘beneath the skin’ hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment, made with the patented NAHYCO® technology. The resulting product is a unique hyaluronic acid injectable gel, which has a prolonged stimulating activity on the dermal cells.

Unlike dermal fillers, Profhilo does not change the facial structure. Profhilo is injected uniformly into the subcutaneous layer of skin, where it disperses within 24 hours. This restores hydration and also increases the production of collagen and elastin.

Profhilo not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing tissue by stimulating the production of new collagen in the skin. Profhilo works by slowly releasing hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in our skin that binds moisture and aids the production of collagen to counteract skin laxity and improve and restore firmness of the skin.

As we grow older, our hyaluronic acid production begins to slow down and as a result, our skin begins to look duller and more dehydrated. This effect on our skin texture is what causes fine lines and wrinkles to form.
